Laser Skin Resurfacing

A laser is able to smooth away and literally remove a fine layer of skin thereby repairing and minimizing sun damage,  wrinkles, pores and scarred skin without the need for cosmetic surgery.

To date, the trend has been for consumers to seek treatments with minimal to no downtime.  However, the trade-off has been that the results have been marginal with multiple treatments required to achieve results.  This in turn has raised the overall cost of treatment. Therefore, our clinicians are looking to technology that can deliver more results for their clients.

We are excited to introduce our newest innovation, Scitons' Joule® Laser  that can produce anywhere from a supercharged microdermabrasion or peel to surgical type results without surgery!   This is because the laser can be used to treat varying depths of the skin.
   1.   A light resurfacing, similar to the strength of 3 microdermabrasions, can be done to renew dull, lifeless skin.  This is called a MicroLaser Peel.  
   2.  Wrinkles and textural changes from the sun and aging can be smoothed in 2 different ways. The first is similar to a Fraxel where tiny holes are punched into the skin to stimulate renewal from underneath.   The Sciton's laser treatment is called the ProFractional-XCÒ.   
The second is similar to the resurfacing capabilities of the CO2 laser but is safer.  It is called the TRL Contour® (Tunable Resurfacing Laser) by Sciton.  
   3.  In addition to superficial treatments in the skin, collagen can be thickened and restored in the deeper portion of the skin.  Tightening can be achieved by utilizing a treatment called SkinTyte® without downtime!  It has been found to be more comfortable than Thermage and to produce as good or better results!
