Lasting SkinSolutions Wisconsin’s “Saving Face” Program

Was established as a way to increase support for programs and projects

that empower Wisconsin Women in need.

Saving Face provides skin care counseling and cosmetic treatments as well as monetary contributions to help women strengthen their self-esteem and confidence. Saving Face and Lasting SkinSolutions is dedicated to working with individuals who have suffered from circumstances beyond their control.  These circumstances threaten their self-esteem and confidence causing limitations to realizing their full personal growth and life’s potential. 

The objective of Saving Face is to assist in the development of resources required to facilitate the social change necessary to end violence against women. The goal of Lasting SkinSolutions is to bring hope, healing and safety to survivors of abuse through help monetarily or physically. Lasting SkinSolutions will promote positive self-image through teaching proper skincare and makeup tips, as well as providing facial and body treatments to help to improve overall appearance thereby improving overall self esteem, confidence and begin the process of rebuilding. Lasting SkinSolutions volunteers donate their time and expertise to treat one face at a time, one person at a time to help victims who cannot afford to receive treatment for their concerns or injuries. 

Selection Criteria:

Nominees will be evaluated on the basis of: 

• Circumstances beyond their control;
• Circumstances threatening their self-esteem and confidence causing limitations to realizing their full personal growth and life’s potential;
• Lack of resources to improve their quality of life.

Ø      Nominations may be made by any person in the community or anyone with knowledge of the nominee’s needs. 

Ø      Nominations must include no more than 3 double spaced, typed pages that provide as many facts as possible about the nominee.  

Ø      Nominations should include a picture (portrait) or other photograph depicting the nominee and/or their circumstances. 

The completed nomination form, nomination letter, and name of person supporting the nomination should be sent to:
